ART ON THE SHORE: VILEBREQUIN x FABRICE HYBER

Vilebrequin proudly announces an extraordinary collaboration with Fabrice Hyber, one of the leading figures in the contemporary art world, for its Summer 2026 Collection.

Beachwear and art come together in a vibrant celebration through two colorful prints: one featuring imaginary marine creatures, the other playful watercolor bubbles. In Hyber’s imaginative universe, men’s and boys’ swimwear, linen shirts, bucket hats, and beach bags become canvases for the artist’s boundless creativity.

A SUMMER AWAKENING WITH FABRICE HYBER

This season, the spotlight is on Fabrice Hyber, one of France’s most internationally acclaimed artists. We dive freely into a world where reality overflows its boundaries, fish echo plants, and bubbles multiply endlessly. The campaign was photographed by Alexandre Guirkinger at Fabrice Hyber’s natural artistic retreat, nestled within the forests of the Vendée valley.

FABRICE HYBER

Born in 1961, Fabrice Hyber is a renowned French artist whose work explores the intersection of art, science, and nature. Describing himself as a “quantum artist,” Hyber’s practice revolves around the concepts of transformation, mutation, and perpetual change.

Life and nature lie at the heart of his artistic vision, with green being his favorite color. Creating in-between forms, mutants, and hybrids, he invents new heroes and brings to life a multitude of living figures, including animal-plants, running trees, and sponge people.
